The KES-450A laser is the latest found in Slim PS3 consoles,
These lasers are a totally new design where they have separated the blueray and DVD sections of the laser in to two eyes, we guess this is to extend longevity of the laser. Note that these lasers are not compatible with consoles that had the old 400A lasers in them, so you need to make sure the laser that is in your console already is a 450A and not an older one.
